Technically, my art is a dialogue between imagination and skill honed over years of practice and teaching. I primarily sketch and note ideas in graphite, but any tool can serve my creative impulses. Engaging in a meticulous visual study, enables me to translate these insights onto paper through a myriad of small sketches. This careful preparation evolves into compositions that seamlessly integrate color ideas and conceptual themes, uniting technique with vision.

     I have a profound passion for calligraphy, finding inspiration in the rhythmic sound of a pen point while it makes contact with paper. My journey into calligraphy is deeply rooted in early years as a commercial artist, where I discovered a natural progression into the art of beautiful writing.
